AT&T U-verse TV to Include Superstation WGN and Tribune Stations

AT&T
Inc. and Tribune Company have announced a distribution agreement to deliver Superstation
WGN and Tribune stations in local markets served by AT&T U-verse TV.

Under the
agreement, U-verse TV customers will have access to the variety of programming
available on Superstation WGN, including family, news, and movie entertainment
and sports events, such as Chicago Bulls basketball games and Chicago Cubs and
White Sox baseball games.

The
agreement covers Tribune stations in markets where AT&T currently offers or plans to offer U-verse TV. The stations in markets currently served by
AT&T U-verse include WPIX (New York/CW), KTLA (Los Angeles/CW), KDAF
(Dallas-Fort Worth/CW), KHCW (Houston/CW), WXIN (Indianapolis/FOX), WTTV/WTTK
(Indianapolis/CW), KSWB (San Diego/CW), WTIC (Hartford/FOX) and WTXX
(Hartford/CW).

agreement with Tribune allows AT&T U-verse TV customers to enjoy the
variety of entertainment programming from Superstation WGN and the quality
local content available on Tribune television stations in our markets across
the country,” said Dan York, AT&T head of programming. “Our
robust and expanding channel lineup gives our customers even more reasons to
choose U-verse TV.”

providing the programming of Superstation WGN,” said Bill Shaw, general
manager of Superstation WGN. “AT&T customers will benefit from the
network’s diverse family-friendly programming and the excitement of live
sports, featuring the Chicago Cubs, White Sox and Bulls.”

AT&T
U-verse TV is delivered by Project Lightspeed, the company’s initiative to
expand the fiber-optics network deeper into neighborhoods to deliver U-verse
TV, AT&T Yahoo! High Speed Internet U-verse Enabled and, in the future,
Voice over Internet Protocol services using fiber-to-the-node (FTTN) and fiber-to-the-premises
(FTTP) technologies.

Terms of
the agreement were not disclosed.
