Skateboarding Brings Their Own Element To X-Games Online Content

Element announces the launch of its online initiative with Canon and
Vuvox.com for Summer X-Games coverage.
Online media sharing developer, Vuvox Network, and, Canon Digital Cameras,
have joined forces with Element to provide exclusive behind the scenes online
media coverage of the 2007 Summer X-Games in

Los Angeles,
CA
from August 2 – 5, 2007.

Using VuVox’s online media creation and sharing platform, Element will
create and syndicate a range of custom X-Games interactive media channels
featuring live photo, video and audio taken by Element team riders and
Element’s professional media journalists. The channels will be continuously
updated on the Element ‘This is My X-Games’ website, located at: http://www.elementskateboards.com/thisismyxgames/

During the X-Games, Element’s team riders, including four time X-Games gold
medalist, Bucky Lasek, will use Canon’s Powershot line of cameras to capture
and report their experience on Element’s online site. This will provide action
sports fans with an unmatched insight into the competition, not available on
TV.

Action sports fans can also use VuVox’s new Facebook application, Photo
Slide, to create their own X-Games Element widget right inside their Facebook
Profile Page and pull in X-Games coverage. This will be the first near real
time X-Games media coverage available to Facebook users.

“Element riders and customers are extremely creative and passionate.
They are critical to the worldwide skate community. We are excited to be
working with companies like VuVox and Canon to enable rich media creation and
sharing. This will take us closer to allowing our customers to truly express:
‘This is My Element’. The goal is to provide our customers with unmatched
access and interaction during the X-Games. Element’s ‘This is My X-Games’ site
sets down a new standard for excellence in the action sports market,” said
Mark Tinkess, EVP of Element Skateboards.

“We are really excited and honored to be working with Element and Canon
at the X-Games. Leading consumer brands are seeking new ways to engage and
empower their customers. This is a perfect example of how VUVOX enables
everyone, ranging from professionals to consumers, to quickly create and share
using their photos, video and music,” said Jim Lanahan, CEO of VuVox
Network.

The X-Games is regarded as the top international action sports competition.
ESPN launched the Games 13 years ago when the market was just forming. As a
major sponsor of the 2007 Summer X-Games, Element will also be demonstrating
their full line of skateboards at a special demo ramp located at the Element
Booth at the X-games X-FEST exhibit and sponsor area. Element Team Riders will
be skating and signing autographs for fans.
