PVI Enhances CFL Games with Virtual Image Entertainment

New York

– August 7, 2007 – PVI Virtual Media Services, the global pioneer and leader in creating and providing real-time virtual image entertainment technology for television, announced today it will integrate virtual advertising, animation creative and the virtual First Down Line into Canadian Football League telecasts during the 2007 season on TSN, Canada’s top rated sports network.

This marks the fourth consecutive year PVI has provided the CFL on TSN telecasts with this technology.

PVI will virtually insert the popular yellow First Down Line, electronic branding and more complex animations in real time onto the field and other segments of TSN’s 50 CFL games during the CFL season, which runs from June 28 through November 3.

These virtual enhancements enable TSN to offer its advertisers, which include General Motors and Rona, additional advertising opportunities throughout its programming and build upon brand visibility and message delivery.

“TSN is committed to providing our advertisers with high-quality, high-impact and high exposure placements of their brands that simultaneously complement the excitement of the CFL,” said Phil King, President, TSN.

“PVI’s industry expertise and leading technology have continually delivered innovative products for our advertising partners and have also been a hit with our viewers.”

“We are excited to be continuing our fourth year of providing TSN with high-end technology which ultimately enhances the viewing experience for fans and builds brand exposure for advertisers,” said Samuel McCleery, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, PVI Virtual Media Services. “We have been operating in

Canada for eight years, providing engaging virtual enhancements to benefit viewers, advertisers and broadcasters.”

As the most experienced and only full-service designer, developer and operator of vision-based, virtual image technology in the market, PVI provides three main services: 1) virtual advertising and product insertion; 2) virtual programming enhancements and 3) data collection and analysis using vision processing.

The company is a pioneer of programming innovations that are now crucial programming components, including the virtual First Down Line in college and professional football and other viewing enhancements in soccer, golf, football and baseball.

PVI has developed specific business-to-business and consumer television applications that enhance the consumer viewing experience on behalf of or in cooperation with an extensive network of partners, including ESPN, FOX, CBS, NBC, ABC, MLB, NFL, Telemundo, CBC, TSN and Global Media (GMA, ABC5, ESPNstar, Hakuhodo, Xin Xin Sports, MCG Moscow).
