TNT to Present More Than 60 Hours of Coverage of the 89th PGA Championship

Network Television (TNT) will provide more than 60 hours of combined televised
and online coverage of the 89th PGA Championship, live from Southern Hills
Country Club in

Tulsa,

OK. The network will air exclusive
coverage of the first round from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET on Thurs., August
9 with full round coverage of the third-highest ranked player in the world Phil
Mickelson and his group, which includes Jeff Sluman and David Toms,
when they tee off at 2:50 p.m. ET. Exclusive coverage continues with the
second round from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET on Fri., August 10 featuring full round
coverage of defending PGA Championship winner Tiger Woods along with Bob Tway
and Rich Beem when they begin play at 2:50 p.m. ET. Coverage continues
with the third and fourth rounds from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET on Sat.,
August 11 and 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. ET on Sun., August 12.

In
addition to extensive television coverage, Turner Sports will launch PGA
Championship Live which will utilize CNN’s patented Pipeline technology to simulcast multiple video streams of the
tournament. The online streaming of live and taped action will
be available exclusively on PGA.com. PGA Championship Live will
feature three pipes that will stream content from Southern Hills Country Club,
including Tiger Woods and his group when they tee off at 9:45 a.m. ET on Thurs.,
August 9 and the 2007 Major Champions group of Zach Johnson, Angel Cabrera and
Padraig Harrington as they get underway at 2:10 p.m. ET on Thurs., August 9.
Coverage on Fri., August 10 features Phil Mickelson’s group when they begin
play at 9:45 a.m. ET.
