2008 NHL All-Star Weekend Comes to Atlanta, January 26-27

The
Atlanta Thrashers and the city of

Atlanta
will host the 2008 NHL All-Star Weekend, January 26-27. The centerpiece of the
mid-season spectacular will be the 56th NHL All Star Game, which will be held
on Sunday, Jan. 27 at Philips Arena in downtown

Atlanta and will feature the best players in
the National Hockey League.

The 2008
NHL All-Star Weekend also will feature a variety of entertainment,
hockey-themed grassroots events and charitable activities throughout the city
of

Atlanta.
Details on other All-Star Weekend events will be released at a later date.
