MSG and Rutgers Enter Partnership

MSG, sports
and entertainment network, and

Rutgers

University announced that
they have entered into a partnership for the network to air a vast array of
Scarlet Knights football programming. This new deal will include live
sports coverage, as well as delayed game coverage and original programming
surrounding the team.

“We
are excited to offer viewers a significant increase in Rutgers football
coverage to complement MSG’s extensive lineup of

New York sports programming,” said
Lydia Murphy-Stephans, executive vice president of programming and production,
MSG Media. “The Scarlet Knights were one of the best stories in
college football last season, and we expect that momentum to continue this
season.”

“This
partnership provides an excellent opportunity for additional television
exposure for our football program in the
New York
metropolitan area,” said
Rutgers head
coach Greg Schiano. “We are excited to continue our relationship with MSG
and look forward to the 2007 season.”

MSG’s
coverage of
Rutgers football will begin this
fall and continue throughout the season. In addition to updates on the
network’s signature nightly sports and entertainment show “MSG, NY,”
the team will also have extensive coverage on MSG’s website and sports blog,
Game On! (www.msg.com). Additional Rutgers football programming on the network
will include:

Live
Sports Coverage: The network will air the season opener, live from Rutgers
Stadium, on August 30th at 7:00 p.m. against

Buffalo. The network will also air the
Scarlet Knights’ third football game of the season live on September 15th at
3:30 p.m. against

Norfolk

State. These games
will be produced by MSG.

“Rutgers
Football In: 60”: Premiering on September 2nd, this one-hour show will be
an edited version of the previous week’s
Rutgers
football game (includes games not originally aired on MSG). It will air
every Sunday during the season at 11:30 a.m. “Rutgers Football in
:60” will be produced by MSG.

“Rutgers
Football Weekly”: This weekly half-hour show will premiere on September 3rd,
and will air Mondays at 10:30 p.m. It will feature highlights from the
most recent game, previews of upcoming games, profiles on key players, along
with appearances by coaches and players. A key element to this show will
also be the Monday afternoon weekly press conference held by
Rutgers
football head coach Greg Schiano. “Rutgers Football Recap” will
be produced by MSG.

“Inside
Rutgers Football”: The weekly half-hour show returned to MSG on August 24th,
and will air Fridays at 6:00 p.m., along with select Thursdays during the
season. The show will feature insight into players’ on and off field
personalities. “Inside Rutgers Football” will be produced by
Rutgers.
