ESPNU Launches Interactive College Football Fan Center

In celebration of its third season covering college football, ESPNU, the
24-hour college sports network, in collaboration with DISH Network and
rEvolution (a sports marketing and media company), will travel to select
college football game sites with an interactive center called, “ESPNU
Football Fan Fest.” The attraction offers fans two interactive game
areas, including the ESPNU Wide Receiver Challenge and Quarterback Challenge,
along with an information area that will allow access to ESPNU.com to check the
latest news and scoring updates. Each appearance will originate from a game
ESPNU will televise. The first stop was Sept. 1 at
Chicago’s
Solider Field for a college football matchup featuring
Iowa
vs.
Northern Illinois. This Saturday, the
“Fan Fest” will travel to

Atlanta
for Samford at Georgia Tech at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU. Other sites will
be determined on a weekly basis.

In
addition, there are opportunities for fans representing one of the teams
playing in the aforementioned games to win a prize at the local and national
level. In each market, fans can compete in the ESPNU Quarterback/Wide
Receiver Challenge, which involves various passing drills. The individual
with the highest score in the local market will then qualify for the national competition.
Upon completion of the tour, whoever resides on top of the score board
will be the national winner and will receive the ESPNU Quarterback/Wide
Receiver Challenge trophy.
