RCN to Support Brooklyn Cyclones Game

RCN
Corporation a provider of video, data, and voice services to residential and
business customers, announced that its NY market is sponsoring the September 6,
2007 Brooklyn Cyclones game at KeySpan Park.

Located on
Coney Island and walking distance of the world famous wooden roller coaster, the
Cyclone, the park and the Brooklyn Cyclones, a Class A affiliate of the New
York Mets and member of the New York-Pennsylvania Professional Baseball League,
will host the Lowell, MA Spinners. The game will be broadcast live on SportsNet

New York
(SNY). The Cyclones are currently in first place in the McNamara Division and
the New York-Pennsylvania (NYPL) playoffs begin on September 9th.

pleased to rally behind our local sports teams and is excited to be a first
time sponsor of the Cyclones,” said Tony Ontiveros,

corner and the Cyclones being in contention for the division title, Thursday’s
game should be really exciting.”

Ontiveros
continued, “In addition to supporting a great sports organization, we’re using
this opportunity to provide a fun family night for our employees.” RCN
employees will be attending the game with their families, showing their company
pride by wearing RCN branded T-shirts, and will receive food gift certificates
for some game day treats. One lucky employee will throw out the first pitch and
“jaQe”, a family member of one of RCN’s direct sales representatives, will be
singing the national anthem. The first 2,500 game attendees will receive a bobblehead
of Joe Smith, courtesy of RCN, who became a part of the NY Mets bullpen after
debuting his relief pitching skills during the 2006 Cyclones season.

In
addition to sponsoring the Manhattan Island Foundation’s Brooklyn Bridge Swim
(set for September 8, 2007, RCN is the official sponsor of the 100-year
anniversary of Georgetown basketball and a sponsor of Georgetown University
Athletics and has partnerships with the Kettler Capitals Iceplex, the D.C.
United soccer team and the Patriot Center at George Mason University.
