France 2 selects Chyron’s graphics for Presidential Elections
Corporation has announced that France 2, the French public television network
has added a further four HyperX HD/SD-switchable
graphics systems with Chyron’s Lyric PRO advanced creation/playout application,
to its existing portfolio of a HyperX and four Duet SD systems.
2 announced a search to find a solution that could handle demanding, fast-paced
graphics initially for the Presidential Elections and then for upcoming live
programs. The broadcaster required a powerful graphics system that could
deliver complex graphics in a demanding environment. Following great success with
its existing HyperX system,
2 chose an additional four HyperXs loaded with Lyric PRO and wrote an
application using Chyron’s LEIF API to enable greater control of the system.

2 is now using three HyperXs for production and news on a daily basis and will
