Philadelphia Eagles’ Safety Brian Dawkins Joins Sports Radio 950

Sports
Radio 950 announces Philadelphia Eagles Safety Brian Dawkins will host the
Brian Dawkins Show from Finnegan’s Wake every Monday night during the NFL
season.

The 6-time
Pro Bowler will host a one hour show in front of a live audience each week.
This is a chance for Eagles fans to hear the game stories right from the leader
of the defense. The show will take place every Monday night (starting on
September 10th) from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Finnegan’s Wake located at 3rd and
Spring Garden Streets in

Philadelphia.
Dawkins will also join the SR950 Morning Show each Monday morning at 7:30 a.m.
to discuss the game from Sunday and preview his show later that night.

Well
regarded as a future Hall of Fame player, Dawkins is also currently the longest
tenured

Philadelphia
athlete to play for one team. However, throughout his great career with the
Eagles, Brian has never hosted his own radio show.

“I am
looking forward to being a part of Sports Radio 950,” said Dawkins.
“I want to bring my knowledge of the game to the listeners. Hopefully,
I’ll be able to explain how we won each week and what we will need to do to win
the following week. There are nuances to the game of football that, hopefully,
I can share and I look forward to learning more of the nuances of the
broadcasting business that I can use to my advantage.”

“I am
thrilled to have Brian as a part of the Sports Radio 950 family,” Program
Director Matt Nahigian said. “He is without question the heart and soul of
the Eagles defense and I am excited about the amazing insight he will provide
our listeners each Monday of the NFL season.”

Dawkins
will be joined by Sports Radio 950 host Harry Mayes and Eagles beat reporter
Brian Seltzer. Mayes and Seltzer will broadcast live at Finnegan’s Wake from
6:00 to 8:30 p.m. with the Brian Dawkins Show from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.
