National TeleConsultants Grows Business With New Office of Technology and Key Promotions

Reflecting
the continued growth of the media industry and the resulting expansion of its
offices on both coasts, National TeleConsultants (NTC), a provider of strategic
media-technology consulting and engineering-design services, has established an
Office of Technology and announced several key promotions.

“NTC’s
creation of an Office of Technology is a strategic business initiative that
addresses the media and entertainment industry’s increasing challenge of
adapting to promising new digital technology opportunities,” notes NTC Managing
Partner Eliot Graham. “The Office of Technology will operate from both NTC’s
new location at

550 North Brand
Boulevard, in
Glendale

CA, and its
New York City
location at 1180 Avenue of the
Americas,
in

Manhattan.
In addition to the creation of the Office of Technology, NTC’s business-growth
strategy also includes new responsibilities for many of the company’s team of
dedicated professionals. These moves ensure that NTC continues to stand at the
forefront of the media and entertainment industry as its thought leader.”

Chief
among those with new responsibilities are NTC’s Eric Pohl, who will assume the
responsibilities of Chief Technology Officer and will represent NTC at the
highest levels in the media industry, as well as continuing in his leadership
role of managing new technology initiatives for the company. Pohl joined NTC in
February of 2004, coming from NBC, where he served as Vice President of
Production Technology for the NBC Television Network. Since that time, Pohl has
been providing strategic and technology consulting to many of NTC’s most
important clients. He has helped define NTC’s vision for the future and, in his
new role as CTO, Pohl will expand his leadership in this regard.

NTC
Managing Partners Eliot Graham and Peter Adamiak, Principal Consultant Rich
Hill, and others will also serve in the new Office of Technology and, in
concert with CTO Eric Pohl, will identify and articulate technologies
significant to NTC’s future.

Another
vital service area NTC provides to the media industry is its Software Solutions
Group, which is led by John Footen, an acknowledged industry expert in such
areas as Service-Oriented Architecture, Business Process Management, and Web
services, all of which have a major impact on modern broadcast and professional
media systems. Footen assumes the position of Vice President, with responsibility
for business and services development of NTC’s software systems offerings.
Footen is a sought-after speaker and expert writer on software architecture and
workflow issues, and will serve as NTC’s senior representative to the industry
for these vital initiatives.

Simultaneously,
David Potter assumes the leadership of NTC’s software systems engineering
effort as Director of Software Systems Engineering. Since joining NTC in
January 2006, Potter has made many important contributions to NTC’s workflow
consultation and software engineering efforts for key industry clients and has
contributed greatly to this growth area of NTC’s business.

Three
additional promotions are being made within NTC’s Design & Engineering
group: Peter Mason, a recognized expert in automation systems and audio
technology, is promoted to Principal Consultant. Yves Schanck, an accomplished
technology consultant and engineer, becomes Principal Consultant. Jeff Phelps
moves from Project Engineer to Senior Engineer.
