Women’s World Cup: Schedule Changes; U.S. vs. England Quarterfinal Match Saturday Morning

Due to the
inclement weather in

China
caused by typhoon Wipha, two of the first-round matches previously scheduled
for Wednesday have been changed to Thursday. Both matches –
Norway vs.
Ghana
and
Brazil vs.

Denmark – have
been moved to Thursday and will air live on ESPN2, simulcast on
ESPN360.com.

The U.S.
Women’s National Team, which beat
Nigeria
1-0 today to finish on top of Group B, will face Group A runner-up
England in the quarterfinals Saturday, Sept. 22,
in

Tianjin at
the Olympic Center Stadium. The match will air live on ESPN2 beginning at
7:55 a.m. ET. The schedule (subject to change):
