Daugherty In ESPN Booth for NASCAR Busch Series Races at Dover, Kansas

Brad
Daugherty will serve as booth analyst for two upcoming NASCAR Busch Series
races. Daugherty, a five-time NBA All-Star and a former winning team owner in
the NASCAR Busch Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, will make his booth
debut in Saturday’s NASCAR Busch Series race at
Dover
(

Del.)
International Speedway. He also will be in the booth for the NASCAR Busch
Series race Saturday, Sept. 29, at Kansas Speedway. Both races air live at 3
p.m. ET on ESPN2.

At

Dover, Daugherty will
join play-by-play announcer Dr. Jerry Punch and Rusty Wallace, ESPN’s lead auto
racing analyst and the 1989 NASCAR Cup champion. At

Kansas, Daugherty will work with Punch and
two-time NASCAR champion crew chief Andy Petree. Daugherty will continue his
role as analyst on NASCAR Countdown for ESPN on ABC’s coverage of the NASCAR
NEXTEL Cup Series races at
Dover and

Kansas and as analyst on
NASCAR Now, ESPN2’s daily NASCAR news and information program.

During the

Dover and

Kansas
races, Petree and Wallace will take turns sitting in the ESPN production truck
to observe the process of producing a race telecast from a new perspective.

Andy are two of the hardest-working and dedicated people I’ve ever been
associated with,” said Rich Feinberg, ESPN vice president, motorsports. “Both
are eager to continue learning all they can about our NASCAR productions and
growing their TV experiences. Brad was in the booth for our qualifying and

The NASCAR
NEXTEL Cup Series race from

Dover
airs Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on ABC. Saturday’s NASCAR Busch Series race airs at 3
p.m. on ESPN2.
