Verizon Broadband Customers Get Online Ticket to ESPN360.com’s Boston College – UMass Football Game

The
hottest college football game in New England Saturday (Sept. 29),

Boston
College
vs. UMass, won’t be available on cable or satellite TV. But Verizon FiOS
Internet and Verizon High Speed Internet customers have free passes to watch
the Eagles of Boston College host the

University of
Massachusetts
Minutemen beginning with the 1 p.m. ET kickoff.

In fact,
Verizon broadband customers can watch the game anywhere they can find a
high-speed Internet connection.

The
weekend college football game will be shown exclusively on ESPN360.com. And, as
part of Verizon’s agreement with the sports programming network, the online
service can be accessed free by broadband customers through the Verizon
Surround Website (http://surround.verizon.net). At the Surround site, Verizon
customers can find the ESPN360.com channel by clicking on the
“SPORTS” tab and then clicking on the “ESPN360.com” tab.
They will be prompted for their Verizon user name and password.

Those
college football fans unable to logon to the game at 1 p.m. Saturday will be
able to watch replays anytime for 48 hours after the game. Several games will
be broadcast exclusively on ESPN360.com during the college football season and
will be available free to Verizon’s broadband customers.
