Fans Score With New Upgrades at Scotiabank Place

The Ottawa
Senators and

Scotiabank Place
had a short, but busy, summer making significant upgrades and improvements to
the sports and entertainment facility. Since September 2006, more than $4
million have been invested to make the fan’s experience a better one.

“We understand that the game experience for Senators fans begins long
before they arrive at

Scotiabank
Place,” said Cyril Leeder, Senators and

Scotiabank Place
chief operating officer. “We’ve made a lot of effort to improve our
service to them by delivering season-ticket packages earlier, providing
print-at-home options, and increasing website information and access.”

New this season for restaurant options at

Scotiabank Place are The Ledge Carvery
& Bar and Local Heroes Hockey Country Lodge. They join an impressive lineup
featuring Club Red, which underwent extensive upgrades in 2006, the Senate
Club, Frank Finnigan’s Roadhouse and Marshy’s Bar-B-Q & Grill. Each of
these restaurants now accepts reservations before every game, concert and event
by calling 613-599-2582.

“This summer we focused on the fans’ dining, concession and entertainment
options,” added Leeder. “With the addition of popular local restaurants
Local Heroes and Lone Star, and the re-branding of the Penalty Box restaurant
to The Ledge Carvery & Bar, we know the summer investment program for our
fans will be well-received.”

New to the concessions on the 100 and 200 levels are two Lone Star Texas Grill
food court locations, the 111 Deli & Bar at Section 111 and two additional
Chicken Chicken Express locations. They compliment the existing concession
lineup, featuring Pizza Pizza, Tim Hortons, Captain’s Corner and Rickard’s Pub.

In addition to the food and beverage upgrades,

Scotiabank Place added another 400 feet
of LED ribbon boards to its game entertainment package. Combined with the
existing LED technology,

Scotiabank
Place now features more than 1300 feet of full
animation LED ribbon boards providing fans with state-of-the-art game
entertainment and advertising. The new technology will feature a new super
stats package and shots on goal, bringing fans up-to-date information from
around the NHL.

Scotiabank Place
also continued its commitment to providing suiteholders with the latest
comfort, completely renovating 22 suites.
