Calrec Produce Hat Trick at AES New York

At AES
Calrec will show a trio of consoles networked by a range of fixed-format I/O
units, which make their AES debut in

New
York.

Ranging in
size from 2U to 4U, the I/O boxes complement Calrec’s existing modular remote
I/O box and all include built-in power supply redundancy with dual IEC power
connections.

At AES
will be the AD5603 and AD5608, both 2U analog I/O units, and the JB5607, a 3U
unbalanced AES I/O unit. The AD5603 consists of 24 mic/line inputs and eight
line outputs, while the AD5608 consists of 12 mic/line inputs and four line
outputs.

The JB5607
consists of 32 AES inputs and 32 AES outputs on BNC connectors, and is also
available as a 110-Ohm XLR-based 4U variant.

Calrec
will also demonstrate Alpha with Bluefin, Omega with Bluefin and Zeta consoles.

The Omega
with Bluefin console was launched at NAB in April, and Calrec has since sold
over a dozen consoles. The Omega uses Calrec’s award-winning Bluefin High
Density Signal Processing (HDSP) technology, and features 160 channel
processing paths packaged as 48 stereo plus 64 mono channels, allowing up to 24
x full 5.1 surround channels.
Calrec is exhibiting
at Booth #536 during the 123rd AES Convention in

New York,
NY.
