790 The Ticket to Carry Florida Marlins Radio Broadcasts

As
announced this evening by Florida Marlins President David Samson on The Dan Le
Batard Show on 790 The Ticket, the Florida Marlins and 790 The Ticket (WAXY)
have agreed to a multi-year contract naming 790 The Ticket the Marlins English
radio flagship station.

“We
are extremely excited to be entering into a partnership with

South
Florida’s preeminent sports radio station,” said P.J.
Loyello, Marlins Senior VP of Communications & Broadcasting. “Finally,
baseball fans will have a place to call home as 790 The Ticket and the Marlins
are committed to providing extensive, creative and entertaining baseball
programming throughout the entire year. We look forward to a long, successful
relationship as we continue to expand our radio network.”

Starting
in 2008, Marlins games will be broadcast in English on Sports Talk 790 The
Ticket, in addition to 15 spring training contests and exclusive Marlins
insider programming.

“We
are very excited about our partnership with the Florida Marlins and bringing
Major League Baseball to our airwaves and our listeners,” said Howard
