Quantel brings Stereoscopic 3D roadshow to GoldCrest

Quantel is
bringing its Stereoscopic 3D roadshow to GoldCrest on the 1st and 2nd of November
2007. Movie guru Jeffrey Katzenberg recently hailed the new breed of Stereoscopic
3D as the “single most revolutionary change since color pictures”.

Katzenberg’s not only talking about the movies – 3D is rapidly becoming a
viable technology for home viewing; some Stereoscopic 3D sets are already
available and many more are in development. Stereoscopic 3D delivers quite
literally a new dimension to the viewing experience, giving a whole new meaning
to the term ‘immersive’.

And it works with all sorts of material, not just films, and it puts the viewer
right in the middle of the action in sports.

In fact, many people think that 3D will take off even faster in TV than at the
movies.

But no amount of description can convey the impact of new generation
Stereoscopic 3D. We’re not talking the red/green paper glasses, sea-sickness
and headaches that you may have experienced if you’ve seen 3D in the past. You
just have to see it for yourself to see what everyone’s talking about, and to
look at the new post production tools that are making it possible.

And that’s just what you can do on 1st and 2nd of November. Quantel has taken
over GoldCrest in

New York,
located at

799 Washington Street,
