Marshall Media Announces Launch of Online HD Broadcasting Service

The future
of digital media has arrived. Marshall Media, Inc., a Glendale, Calif.-based
media technology company, is pleased to announce the launch of its Infinibeam
HD Internet broadcasting service. This innovative technology streams
high-definition audio-video content to Web users worldwide in real time. From
business to sports to entertainment, Marshall Media offers event organizers and
sponsors a unique opportunity to bring their event to life by broadcasting it
online in HD.

“In
today’s crowded marketplace, the captivation of an audience is becoming
increasingly difficult,” said Jim Henley, vice president of business
development for Marshall Media. “With Infinibeam HD, we’ve developed a
unique way to provide cost-effective, live broadcast streaming solutions that
can be delivered to mass audiences in both enhanced and high-definition formats
over the public Internet.”

Infinibeam
HD can broadcast in full motion — sustained 30 frames per second — using the
480p and 720p digital formats with constant lip-synchronization. Therefore,
with this technology, there is no freezing, no stop-and-go motion or audio
slippage in the content that is typically associated with streamed video.

Already,
the Infinibeam HD service has attracted the attention of several prominent
figures in the action sports, entertainment and telecommunications arenas.
Marshall Media has streamed live events for Freestyle Motocross, the annual
Bengali Music Festival and Garrett Morris’ The Downtown Comedy Club in

Los Angeles.

“It
was really an amazing picture quality that even went beyond our own expectations,”
said Doug Parsons, producer of the Quarter Pipe Challenge — a Freestyle
Motocross event in Redlands, Calif., which was broadcast through Infinibeam HD.
Parsons called the live streaming “a technology coup” and said he was
excited that Marshall Media and its services would “change up the
availability of all action sports, in particular Moto, to a global fan
base.”

“I
think you will be seeing quite a bit of this company in our sport over the next
couple years,” he added.

In
addition, Gary Kaufman, head of Marshall Media’s digital media division, said
that there is a wide range of applications for the Infinibeam HD streaming
media service. These applications include live entertainment, concerts, sports
events, advertising campaigns, press conferences, comedy shows, corporate
communications, training sessions, seminars, fashion shows, security
surveillance, law enforcement and telehealthcare. For more information
