NBC Sports.com becomes the official “Sports Channel” of msnbc.com and NBC Sports

and msnbc.com announced a partnership that gives sports fans everywhere access
to the latest and most comprehensive news, video, and interactive sports
features – all in one place. The multiyear agreement makes NBCSports.com
the official sports channel of msnbc.com and NBC Sports.

The new NBCSports.com combines msnbc.com’s news coverage and award-winning
original journalism with the wealth of original programming provided by NBC
Sports on-air and online. The result is a powerful sports destination
that will deliver video, breaking news, photos, standings, scores, in-depth
features, fantasy sports news and information, fantasy games, social tools and
NBC Sports’ coverage of major professional and amateur sports.

In addition to contributing content and operating from one publishing platform,
msnbc.com and NBC Sports will combine advertising and sponsorship sales
efforts. The NBCSports.com site will provide advertisers with a rich
platform to reach millions of consumers who enjoy professional and amateur
sports. The exclusive content on NBCSports.com includes Notre Dame
football pre-game, halftime and post-game shows, “Sunday Night
Football” wrap-around programming featuring Bob Costas, Cris Collinsworth,
Tiki Barber and Jerome Bettis, NBC Fantasy Fix Live with Tiffany Simons and Rotoworld.com’s
Gregg Rosenthal and ‘The Mad Dog Minute’, with Christopher “Mad Dog”
Russo.
