Net Insight Receives An Order From HTN Communications For A Significant US Media Network

Net
Insight has received the first order from HTN Communications for a Nimbra based
network for enhanced sports programming across the

United States.

HTN Communications (formerly Hughes Television Network) have been servicing the
sports broadcast and cable marketplace with transmission facilities and
services since 1956. Live event broadcasting is expanding rapidly and HTN is
now deploying a network to transport enhanced sports programming using Net
Insight’s Nimbra platform.

Starting with the 2007-2008 NHL (National Hockey League) and NBA (National
Basketball Association) seasons, this initial phase will cover approximately
ten venues with a continued rollout to all pro sports venues throughout the
season. The network will significantly increase bandwidth and the service
offering at the venues including multiple HD (High-Definition) and SD
(Standard-Definition) video backhaul capabilities originating from each venue.

The platform is a versatile multiservice solution featuring the transport of
HD-SDI streams alongside SDI, any-size MPEG (ASI and IP), audio (AES-EBU and
E1) and Ethernet data traffic over a common network. With the highest network
utilization, multicasting of all types of services, guaranteed quality of
service and the possibility of extending the network entirely in pace with
customer growth, the Nimbra platform offers an efficient, reliable and
cost-effective network solution.

“Operators, broadcasters and production companies are facing significant
challenges as there is an explosive increase in video traffic across
communication networks”, says Fredrik Tr g rdh, CEO of Net Insight.
“Net Insight’s Nimbra platform has been selected in over 25 countries as
it offers the most efficient and versatile contribution and distribution
platform on the market. With HTN, our Nimbra platform again proves to be the
choice of the most demanding customers for their mission critical
services”.

“Broadcast clients have shown a tremendous desire to take advantage of the
reliability and quality benefits of a Nimbra network,” said Joseph Cohen,
Chairman and CEO of HTN Communications. “HTN’s new DTM fiber optic network
service will enhance existing fiber optic transmission delivery technology,
vastly improving upon current network offerings.”

“HTN is very excited to be able to launch this new service. It is an example
of our commitment to providing customers with innovative transmission solutions
along with the expert and personal customer service that has defined our
business for over 50 years,” Cohen said. “We look forward to
continuing our tradition of providing the live sports broadcasting and cable
communities with reliable transmission solutions in the evolving world of High
Definition television.”
