RCN Subscribers can score with NBA LEAGUE PASS

RCN Corporation
announced that it will begin carrying

NBA
LEAGUE
PASS games on its digital cable network
starting today, October 30, with a week-long free preview.

NBA

LEAGUE

PASS
is a digital subscription
basketball programming package of NBA regular season games that are played
outside subscribers’ local viewing area. The basketball games included in NBA
LEAGUE PASS are in addition to those available on ABC, TNT, NBA TV, ESPN &
ESPN2 and your in-market networks (such as a regional sports network and/or
over-the-air station).

NBA

LEAGUE
PASS
subscribers will see up to 40 games each week from outside your local viewing
area throughout the regular season.

“NBA
LEAGUE PASS today joins our line up of digital subscription sports programming
packages and we are pleased that we can provide RCN sports fans with even more
options and program choices,” said RCN President & CEO Peter Aquino. “Whether
it’s hockey, baseball or basketball, RCN subscribers have the chance to see the
match-ups they want to watch. As the first triple play (bundled cable TV, phone
and Internet) service provider, we consider this programming addition as RCN’s
version of a three-pointer.”

The games
will be seen on RCN Channels 800-809 in the
Washington,

D.C. Metropolitan area; RCN Channels 380-389
in the Chicago Metropolitan Area; RCN Channels 255-264 in the Boston
Metropolitan Area; RCN Channels 620-629 in the New York Metropolitan Area; and
RCN Channels 640-649 in RCN’s
Lehigh
Valley and

Philadelphia
markets.
