RCN Becomes Official Sponsor of American University Athletics

RCN
Corporation, a provider of video, data, and voice services to residential and
business customers, announced that it has become an official sponsor of
American University Athletics.

RCN will
receive prominent promotion and exposure as a “TEAM AU” level partner at all
home athletics events including, men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling,
lacrosse, field hockey, volleyball, and men’s and women’s soccer games.

University’s official
cable television, internet and telephone sponsor of all of the school’s
athletic events. We believe this sponsorship will prove to be mutually
beneficial and productive,” said RCN Washington DC Vice President and General
Manager Don Channel.

As part of
the sponsorship, RCN will have signage prominently displayed at Bender Arena
and at the Reeves Field & Jacobs Recreation Complex. In addition, RCN will
be featured in radio, television, internet and print advertising; game day
public address announcements and promotions; and print materials, including
programs, posters, calendars, brochures, etc. RCN will also sponsor NW DC
Elementary School Night at the men’s basketball game on December 7, 2007.

University, RCN has partnerships with the Kettler
Capitals Iceplex, the D.C. United soccer team, Georgetown University Athletics,
and the
Patriot
Center
at

George
Mason
University.
RCN also has a multi-year, multi-platform advertising campaign with the
Washington Redskins.
