Time Warner Cable Buffalo Division Unveils New Local Sports Programming

Time
Warner Cable, announced that it has revamped its origination channel into primarily
a local sports channel, Time Warner Cable SportsNet. Weekly programming
highlights will include Enforcers with former Buffalo Sabres Rob Ray and
Matthew Barnaby and the Press Pass Football Edition with Howard Simon, both on
Monday evenings. Key contributors to the new format will be AHL hockey games
from Rochester, Syracuse, and Albany; basketball and hockey games from local
colleges Canisius, UB, St. Bonaventure and Niagara; Syracuse University
basketball and lacrosse games and coaches shows from UB and Syracuse. There
will be programming to entertain the snowmobile enthusiast, NASCAR racing fan
and those who enjoy Great Lakes Fishing.
