RPG Diffusor Systems releases Class A fire rated acoustical foam Packages

Diffusor Systems, Inc. announced the availability of MelaFlex, an economical
Class A fire rated acoustical foam, ideal for start-up or mobile production
facilities and studios, in easy to select packages.
This entry into the marketplace signals the
beginning of a new era of both simple, user friendly acoustical solutions along
with much overdue peace of mind knowing safety issues have been addressed.

The Melaflex
Nestable Profiled Acoustical Foam With patented VDAC (Variable Depth Air
Cavity) is fabricated from non-fibrous, fire resistant, open cell, lightweight
(0.6lb.3) BASF melamine foam. In full compliance with all National Life Safety
Codes for Class A interior use, and meeting all requirements of the ATSM Fire
tunnel test, RPG has configured solutions options based on space requirements. Melaflex
is available in 2×2 and 4×2 (ProFoam) panels, 1×1 (ProFoam) tiles and 4×1 low
frequency corner units (ProCorner).
ProFoam
panels and tiles nest on top of one another, allowing the user to upgrade
finish down the line or tune their space as needed without removing existing
panels.
