FSN Bay Area promotes Ted Griggs to VP and GM

Ted Griggs has been promoted to vice president and general manager of
FSN Bay Area. Griggs has been with the network since 1998 and has been
serving as vice president of production and operations and acting
general manager since March, 2007.

During his leadership, FSN Bay Area has enjoyed business, programming
and community success. FSN Bay Area has delivered nearly 9% advertising
revenue growth in 2007; increased live event production by 125% and now
televises 360 live sporting events annually, including 200 in HDTV; and
been awarded 32 Emmy awards for excellence in the television industry
since 1999 and three 2007 Beacon awards for excellence in communications
and public affairs in the cable television industry.

Griggs
’ promotion is effective immediately,
and was announced today by Jon Litner, president of Comcast SportsNet,
to whom Griggs reports. Comcast SportsNet acquired majority ownership of
FSN Bay Area in June, 2007.

Litner said,

Griggs added,

Griggs has guided FSN Bay Area
’s community
involvement which includes programming and promotional support for the
Special Olympics of Northern California and fundraising support for the
Willie Mays Boys and Girls Club at Hunters Point.

Griggs was named 2007 Lacrosse Man of the Year for his efforts to help
promote and grow the sport of lacrosse in Northern California. He is a
native of Hayward, CA, and attended college at Cal State Hayward (now
Cal State East Bay) and San Francisco State University. He attended his
first Giants game in 1965 and saw Willie Mays hit a home run, one of 52
that year, against the Reds. He and his wife Amy live in Novato, CA and
have three children.
