QuStream taps lego for sales post

Peter (Ray) Lego has joined QuStream as Sales Manager for Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. He reports to Bob Hivner, QuStream’s Vice President, Sales, for Eastern North America.

Ray Lego joins QuStream with a quarter-century of experience encompassing practically every aspect of broadcast engineering. He started his career in 1972 as a cameraman at WRBL TV-3 Columbus, GA, progressing in 1976 to a graphics design role with Columbus Consolidated Government.

In 1981 he moved to Atlanta to work as an engineer with Turner Broadcasting, serving four years with CNN/Headline News and one year with TBS Productions. In 1986 he was appointed Chief Engineer at Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Video Production in Orlando, Florida, followed by seven years (1988 to 1995) as Remote/Soundstage Technical Manager with Disney-MGM Studios in Florida.

From 1995 to1996 he worked with NASA-Bionetics Corporation as a video systems specialist responsible for all NASA Space Shuttle television engineering operations. He was a member of the NASA HDTV Working Group formed to develop and recommend implementation timelines and future HDTV equipment and technology for NASA’s main research centers, shuttle orbiters, and the International Space Station.

This post was followed by two years as Engineering Manager at America’s Health Network in Orlando and a further two years as Senior Field Service Engineer at Sony Broadcast Professional, Norcross. He joins QuStream following eight years at the Teranex division of Silicon Optix, latterly as Eastern Regional Sales Manager and Senior Sales Engineer.
