Show Partners Launches Pre-Visualization Lighting Studio

Show Partners, a provider of broadcast television production, crewing, and design services attained ESP Vision’s highly coveted Preferred VisionProvider (PVP) status, and concurrently launched its Design Services lighting studio. Show Partners Design Services provides set, graphic, and lighting services for events such as concerts, corporate events, and broadcast television entities.

“Pre-Visualization has become the gold standard for show producers, lighting engineers and technicians,” states Chris Runnels, Artistic Director for Show Partners Innovative Show Design. “Our PVP certification and launch of Show Partners Design Services studios provides facilities and staff for the pre-programming of entire shows made up of complex elements such as customized colors, gobos, lenses, and lamps – and provides for renderings and CAD-based animations of virtually any fixture prior to use in a live environment,” adds Runnels.

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, ESP Vision is a provider of Vision 2.2, a lighting program with functionality that includes: Advanced Light and Texture Rendering, Special Effects, and Real-Time Lighting Controls.

Director of Marketing Alan Jesse of ESP Vision states, “The completion of this certification places Show Partners at the pinnacle of providers of Pre- Visualization as PVP is unlike any other certification program. Each PVP candidate is selected by ESP Vision, which reviews the people, facilities, and training prior to approval. Clients selecting a PVP can be assured that they will receive the highest level of Vision expertise for their project.”

As only the third recipient in North America to earn PVP status, Show Partners staff has been awarded for its technical use of lighting for MansionPoker.net Poker Dome Challenge, in turn gaining national attention for its achievements, and prompting the 2008 expansion of its studio facilities and access to its Design Services team.
