A.M.D. Set to Introduce a New Chip for Laptops

Eager to declare its troubles behind it, the chip maker Advanced Micro Devices is ready for a new turf war with its rival, Intel, reports the New York Times.
A.M.D. will start selling new power-conserving notebook chips, called
Puma, with strong graphics and video abilities, but Intel is countering
by aiming at another part of the
mobile computing market: wireless
