FOR-A Latin America appoints Tanoue President

FOR-A
Latin America has been officially incorporated as FOR-A Latin America, Inc. and Mr.
Hiroaki Tanoue will serve a dual role as president of FOR-A Latin America Inc.
and Executive Vice President of FOR-A Corporation of America. Tanoue has been
with FOR-A for fourteen years. He helped open the company’s New York office and served as Eastern
Regional Sales manager from 2000 to 2006. Most recently, Tanoue was Deputy
Sales Manager for FOR-A, based in the Tokyo
World Headquarters.
“Hiro has
been an asset to our organization from the beginning,” said Mr. Susumu Hotta,
president of FOR-A Corporation of America. “We’re proud of his accomplishments
thus far and are confident that he’ll successfully lead our efforts in Latin America.”
“There is
huge potential for continued growth in the Latin American market. The
incorporation of our Latin American division will offer concentrated support to
our customers in the region as well and provide a unique edge,” said Tanoue “I
look forward to furthering the company’s reputation and commitment to the
market there.”
Because of
its incorporated status, FOR-A Latin America, Inc. will have the independence
to make decisions about inventory and pricing that best meets the specific
needs of customers in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Caribbean
and Latin America Regional Sales Manager, Pedro Silvestre, said the new status
of FOR-A Latin America will facilitate relations with existing and potential
customers in the region: “FOR-A’s presence in the Latin American market
warrants this change in our corporate identity. In the last 18 months our sales
have been very strong. This will allow us to respond more directly to the needs
of our customers in this region.”
The
company will operate from its recently opened Miami office. Located at 5200 Blue Lagoon Drive, Suite 760, in Miami, the office was opened in June of 2007 to enhance
FOR-A service to a growing base of customers and distributors in the Latin
American and Caribbean markets.
FOR-A
Latin America, Inc. will enhance service to its customers by employing a
dedicated team of salespersons, engineers and technicians that are fluent in
Spanish and Portuguese.
