Bexel Broadcast Inks Deal With Freed; Expands Audio Expertise

Jonathan Freed has joined Bexel Broadcast Services as an audio consultant and technical advisor. Freed will work with Bexel ASG (Audio Specialties Group) to enhance its audio presence and product offerings in the remote broadcast market. “We are extremely excited to have Jonathan join us in a Technical Advisory position”, says Craig Schiller, vice president/GM of Bexel Broadcast Services. “His 30+ years of sound mixing experience including some of the industry’s biggest remotes will be invaluable to us as we further our audio efforts with our existing product lines as well as some new ones.”
Working for clients such as ESPN, ABC, Turner Sports, HBO, NBA Entertainment, CBS, NBC and Fox during his career, Freed will add a unique perspective to Bexel’s existing audio inventory as well as aid in expanding our audio services as it relates to the dynamic remote environment. Freed’s advisory role will be very beneficial to Bexel in many areas including RF audio system design and implementation, Calrec Audio Console operational and programming techniques and integration and effective 5.1 Surround Sound audio execution in the HD broadcast environment.
“I am looking forward to the opportunity to work with an industry leader such as Bexel to bring some new and innovative ideas and systems related to broadcast audio,” says Freed. “I believe Bexel is perfectly positioned internally and with its clients to be able to take the next step in providing exciting new audio solutions using the latest cutting edge technology and proprietary designs.”
