STATS Named Official Provider of Real-Time Game Data for NFL

STATS LLC is partnering with the National Football League to become the league s exclusive domestic provider of real-time game data. All NFL teams will rely on
STATS Pass, an online statistics tool that franchises can use to create statistical databases and print customized reports of team statistics. The ability to share and download the information makes it a valuable tool in player scouting and media relations.
STATS reporters enter plays into software that immediately sends data to STATS databases at our headquarters, says Nick Stamm, associate director, marketing and communications, for STATS LLC. We then calculate, analyze, and format the data for clients and send it back directly to them.
NFL Network will use
STATS
Pass in its game broadcasts. Announcers can use the stats to enhance the broadcast for fans. STATS will also provide statistics to NFL.com to support the growing fantasy-football community.
