CSP Cuts Price of Digital Audio Recording Truck

CSP Mobile Productions is offering its Unit 6 digital audio recording truck at a reduced price. The 40-foot truck is designed for large-scale audio productions and is based on a Yamaha PM1D audio console capable of handling 96 tracks of audio. Originally priced at $550,000, the truck is now available for $450,000.
Unit 6 features 78 tracks of hard-disk recording and 56 tracks of digital tape as backup. The mobile unit contains a Mac G4 Dual Processor with Pro Tools LE and microphones from Shure, Sennheiser, and Audix. Unit 6 has plasma screens and even a leather coach for clients.
