SNEAK PEEK: ESPN’s New ‘Monday Night Football’ Graphics

ESPN s new Monday Night Football Dashboard will make its first appearance on Sept. 8 when the Minnesota Vikings face the Green Bay Packers, and Oakland Raiders host the Denver Broncos. It represents a change in on-screen, in-game graphics for MNF.
Jed Drake, ESPN SVP and executive producer, explains, We have a brand-new graphic look that is going to give the screen back to our viewers, which is one of the things that they clearly wanted, particularly in this age of high-definition television. They want the graphics out of the way. They want to see information, but they don t want it to be a distraction to the pictures that we bring to them, which are spectacular.
