Influxis TVStation Integrates With YouTube

Influxis,
an Adobe partner and Flash Media Server 3 hosting specialist, has released
version 1.8 of the TVStation application. This latest release includes a Flex environment with several enhanced features and allows
scheduling of YouTube video clips.
“TVStation
takes full advantage of the interactive side of Adobe Flash Media Interactive
Server,” says Richard Blakely, CEO of Influxis. “This essentially gives our
customers their own ‘video space’ and really allows for publishers to interact
with their audience in a very unique way.”
With the
YouTube integration, single videos or entire playlists from YouTube can be
uploaded to the TVStation application. The publisher has instant access to
YouTube’s library of video content and can schedule the exact time and day when
the videos are to be played. Says Blakely, “The tradeoff is that the YouTube
logo must appear and videos are progressively downloaded versus streamed over
RTMP.”
TV
Station 1.8 allows users to broadcast a personalized Internet TV station 24/7
using the latest features of Adobe Flash Media Server 3, including superior
security with RTMPE (real-time messaging protocol encryption) and HD-quality
video. It also allows streaming all h.264 encoded media, including MPEGs.
With the
TVStation application, Influxis clients can program their own online TV station
with a mixture of any video, audio, or image content; YouTube video clips; and
recorded or live Webcam streaming in a television-like scheduled broadcast. In
addition, each video can be set to display any background image and display a
link to any Webpage of choice.
Since
version 1.8 is built within a Flex framework, developers can customize, skin,
and brand the end-user interface by modifying the Flex CSS files, which
Influxis includes with the file download.
TVStation
1.8 is one of a growing library of turnkey plug-and-play Flash applications
offered with all Influxis Adobe Flash Media Server 3 hosting accounts. Try it
