Venevision Graphics Taps Chyron HyperX2 systems

Venevision, one of Venezuela’s largest television networks, has installed Chyron HD/SD-switchable HyperX2 systems in its news, variety, and mobile studios. The HyperX2 systems with Lyric PRO advanced creation and playout will provide Venevision with HD graphics including scores, templates, chronometers, and statistics.
Eduardo Ortega, studio manager, Engineering and Operations, Venevision, says, “Venevision has maintained a close relationship with Chyron for more than 20 years, and their character generators have always been highly reliable and efficient.
“We recently decided to take a look at the renewal of our graphics platform,” he adds, “and after seeing a demonstration of the outstanding features of Chyron’s Hyper X2, we decided to purchase systems for installation in our news and variety studios, plus another for one of our mobile units.”
