NBA TV Details New Announcers and Programming

Beginning on Tues., Oct. 28, NBA TV will televise live studio programming six
days a week from the new NBA TV studio in
Atlanta,
in addition to its 96 live NBA games throughout the regular season.

NBA TV’s new lineup of announcers will feature Chris Webber, Eric Snow, Steve
Smith and Gary Payton who will serve as regular weekly studio
analysts. Ahmad Rashad and Ernie Johnson will both be
featured regular hosts of the studio show programming on Tuesday and Wednesday
nights. Andre Aldridge also returns to the network as a
host, along with TNT’s Marc Fein. NBA TV’s fantasy expert Rick Kamla will
continue in his role and make regular weekly studio appearances. The NBA
TV announcers will also make regular contributions to NBA.com.

“We’ve hired some of the best announcers in the business and
put together a deep bench that will bring unique perspectives and experiences
to our daily studio telecasts, and we’re excited to showcase their insights on
both NBA TV and NBA.com,” said Bryan Perez, SVP and GM of NBA Digital.
“From online to on air, this season we’ll give fans an exciting new
multiplatform experience as we deliver more games, live studio shows and
compelling features than anywhere else.

NBA
TV will feature select appearances by NBA on TNT personalities including Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie
Johnson. TNT game announcers Marv Albert, Kevin Harlan, Reggie Miller, Doug
Collins, Mike Fratello and Dick Stockton, as well as reporters David Aldridge, Craig
Sager and Cheryl Miller, will also contribute to the network this season.

NBA TV will tip off the season on Opening Night on Tues.,
Oct. 28 with a live studio show featuring Rashad, Webber and
Payton. The night’s coverage will include an interview with NBA
commissioner David Stern, a live in-studio appearance by TNT’s studio team of
Johnson, Barkley and Smith and coverage of the Boston Celtics ring ceremony in
addition to a season preview show.

Throughout the season NBA TV’s weekly studio programming
will feature three signature nights, including Tuesday’s Fan Night. Fans
will have the unique opportunity to vote for the games they want to see
televised nationally on NBA TV each Tuesday night.

Voting begins on Oct.
28 when fans can log onto NBA.com and select from a number of games taking
place around the league and vote for the one they most want to see televised on
NBA TV on Nov. 4. Voting will take place each week on Tuesdays and
Wednesdays; the selections will be announced Wednesday nights on NBA TV. The
Tuesday night pre- and postgame studio shows will be hosted by Rashad with
Webber.

Each Wednesday night NBA
TV will debut a new NBA Entertainment original feature or series for Premiere
Night. The first series, NBA Roundtable, will premiere Wed., Oct. 29 and
will feature Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden in a roundtable discussion
with legendary centers Patrick Ewing, Bob Lanier, Bill Russell, David Robinson and
Bill Walton. The first half of Wednesday night studio programming will be
hosted by Ernie Johnson and Eric Snow, followed by Marc Fein and Snow.

Thursday nights on NBA TV
will showcase the rich heritage of the NBA during Legends Night. Each
Thursday night NBA TV will showcase an NBA legend – a player, coach, team or
era – and give fans a chance to look back to some of the most memorable moments
in basketball. The first Legends Night, Thurs., Oct. 30, will feature the
Boston Celtics.
