Linear Acoustic and PRECO Ink West Coast Distribution Deal

PRECO, a
distributor and systems integrator of HD video, switching, routing, conversion,
and test and measurement equipment, will serve as the new distributor for
Linear Acoustic west coast customers. PRECO will provide the full line of
Linear Acoustic audio processing systems, including the company’s AERO
range of solutions targeted to the demands of digital broadcasting.

in PRECO’s offering , the AERO.air (5.1) 10-channel TV audio
processor enables broadcasters to deliver compelling 5.1-channel surround sound while
saving time, money, and space. The solution is equipped with a
loudness controller, upmixer, and metadata manager, as well as full-time,
two-channel downmixing to support legacy analog paths.
