JVC and SENSIO Partner on Projection System

JVC and
SENSIO Technologies, the creator of the SENSIO 3D, have joined forces and will
combine JVC D-ILA projectors with a media server integrating the SENSIO 3D
decoding technology. SENSIO technology allows users to store and playback
movies in 3D.The new system will allow the viewing of full 1080p resolution
3D content. The
product will be developed and sold in 2009.

our two technologies into a single, simple system for the consumer will have
broad impact in the marketplace, already thirsty for 3D display.” explains
Lon Mass, Vice President of marketing for JVC.
JVC
and SENSIO, will showcase their respective technologies at EH Expo
West 2008, scheduled to take place November 5-7 in
Long Beach,
CA.
The 3D theater will exhibit two DLA-RS2 projectors with SENSIO’s S3D-PRO, offering
Full HD with a resolution up to 1080p stereoscopic video processing.
