Sony To Host Hands-On Demo for NYC Freelancers

Sony is hosting a hands-on demonstration featuring our XDCAM EX and XDCAM cameras for freelancers in New York City. The event will focus on providing freelance videographers information on SONY’s tapeless HD solutions for ENG. It will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2009, and will be held at Manhattan Center Productions at 311 West 34th Street in Manhattan.

The first session begins at 10 a.m. and will cover shooting and delivery with XDCAM. The session will be focused on freelancers who shoot and deliver camera originals to their clients. Peter Crithary will provide an in-depth overview of each camera.
From Noon to 1 p.m. is a lunch to be followed by a second two-hour session from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on shooting and post production with XDCAM. Dennis Dillon will provide an overview of the workflow he has used on many completed projects.

Both demonstrations will include Sony’s PMWEX1, PMWEX3, PDWF355 and PDW700 products currently in use by major TV networks and stations. In addition, the new SONY HDCA702 ASI adaptor and our digital wireless audio product will also be featured.
