ESPN International To Bring Super Bowl XLIII In HD to Latin America Via DirecTV HD

This year, for
the first time ever, American-football fans in Latin
America will be able to enjoy the Super Bowl in high-definition. ESPN
International, the rightsholder of Super Bowl XLIII in the region, is
offering HD coverage of the event through the DirecTV HD platform.

and other parts of the world are already able to enjoy marquee sporting events

America with HD sports transmission. Starting ESPN HD coverage in

DirecTV
customers will be able to enjoy Super
Bowl XLIII in ESPN HD coverage on channel 1004 on Sunday Feb. 2.
