Daktronics Scorer’s Tables Featured at Big East Tournament

In partnership with Van Wagner Dorna USA, Daktronics is supplying light-emitting–diode (LED) scorer’s tables for the Big East men’s basketball tournament, starting March 10 at Madison Square Garden.

Daktronics digital scorer’s tables showcase student-athletes, display real-time stats, recognize sponsors, and promote upcoming events. With Daktronics 10-mm–LED technology, the scorer’s tables display colorful graphics, messages, and video clips with clear, vivid images.

“The Daktronics digital scorer’s tables will be an excellent complement to the electric atmosphere of conference-tournament basketball,” says John Libro, VP of development for Van Wagner Dorna USA. “The technology gives additional visibility to the conference, their teams, and corporate partners.”

The Big East tournament will include a Daktronics integrated LED video and scoring system at Madison Square Garden. In 2007, an eight-sided LED video center-hung display was installed with the capabilities to present live and recorded video images, colorful animation, and vivid graphics with brightness and wide-angle visibility. In addition, the facility features Daktronics LED ribbon displays and transparent shot clocks.
