Eyeheight Binds Modules Together at NAB

Two new additions to Eyeheight’s range of modular broadcast production and post-production solutions will be introduced the 2009 NAB Convention in Las Vegas.

Eyeheight’s CS-7 single-licence control software allows a chosen module in the Eyeheight range to be operated from a local or remote computer via standard IP networking. CS-7 can be installed on multiple computers connected to the same Eyeheight module.

The companion ML-7 multiple licence software enables five or more modules to be controlled from a single GUI and again can be be installed on multiple computers.

Eyeheight’s CS-7 and ML-7 software includes a visual alarm on the display screen which notifies the operator if an attached device is being controlled from another computer. An automatic network scan enables all connected products to be identified. Engineering and production views are generated with the most frequently needed options displayed in each view. A single display interface allows simultaneous status checking and multiple product control.

Control software is not required for the recently-introduced NB-9 nanoBox free-standing housing. Control of nanoBox is via Eyeheight’s softPanel software which can run in Java 1.5 on any standard PC.
