Utah Scientific Snags Frost & Sullivan Award

Utah Scientific has been awarded the 2009 Customer Value Leadership Award by industry research firm Frost & Sullivan. The award was announced in conjunction with the publication of Frost & Sullivan’s new study on the Global Video Switcher Market.

This award follows the Customer Service Leadership Award that was given to Utah Scientific in Frost & Sullivan’s previous survey of the world switcher market in 2005.

In the award citation, Frost & Sullivan research analyst Meghali Sharma wrote: “Switchers are considered significant capital investments by customers. Keeping this in mind, Utah Scientific ensures that customers are not required to enter into service agreements to obtain support for their critical infrastructure equipment. The company provides a free, 24-hour, seven-days-a-week service and support line, and advance shipment of warranty-exchange equipment.”

“In comparison to most other vendors in this market who provide a warranty of five to seven years, Utah’s products come with a warranty for a period of 10 years from the date of shipment at no additional cost to the customer,” said Sharma. “These value-added services from Utah Scientific have helped the company maintain a strong position in today’s highly competitive market.”

“We are very proud to have been selected by Frost & Sullivan for this award,” says Tom Harmon, Utah Scientific president and CEO. “We have always tried to maintain our focus on creating value for our customers, and it is extremely gratifying to have our efforts acknowledged by such a highly regarded organization.”
