Wegener To Debut CompelConnect.com At NAB

Wegener will introduce its CompelConnect.com Web-based network-control system for media networks at NAB.

CompelConnect.com is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) that provides management tools for content distribution, scheduling, playout control, and health and status monitoring of Wegener’s iPump 525 IP media players via the Web.

All video playout from the iPump 525 can be augmented with graphics and text, Wegener says, including time-sensitive information, such as regional news, local advertiser contacts, or horseracing odds.

The company adds that CompelConnect.com is ideal for digital signage, corporate communications, and subscription services.
