NBC to Ante Up, Gear Up for Iron Man

NBC has a busy Sunday planned at the poker table, in the Gulf of Mexico and biking and running in Pinellas County, Fla.

The network will air the National Heads-Up Poker Championship presented by GoDaddy.com from Caesars Palace in Las Vegas Sunday at noon (ET). Later that day, at 4:30 p.m., NBC will present the 2008 Foster Grant Iron Man World Championship 70.3.

The 64 player field for the poker tournament includes 12 World Series of Poker Main Event champions, 113 combined WSOP bracelet winners and all six previous WPT Players of the Year.

And the Iron Man event includes a 1.2-mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico, a 56-mile bike ride and a 13.1-mile run through Pinellas County, with participants having eight hours to complete the course.
