Telecast Fiber Systems Hitches Ride on FileCaster

Telecast Fiber Systems gear will be on board the FileCaster, a hybrid six-camera HD mobile-production truck with satellite transmission sponsored by TV Pro Gear and featuring mobile broadcasting technologies from NAB.

The FileCaster, which will also contain technology from nine other vendors, will tour 14 U.S. cities immediately following the confab.

Telecast will provide its Mini BoothPack, a specialized bundle of solutions that includes the TelePort CWDM wavelength manager; Adder II modular audio, intercom and data-multiplexing system; and DiamondBack 4×4 NTSC/PAL video multiplexer. The FileCaster will also feature Telecast’s CopperHead camera-mounted fiber optic multiplexing system and SHED/HDX simple hybrid elimination device and power adapter system.
