Miranda to Debut New Features, Remote-Control Panel at NAB

Miranda Technologies will use NAB to demonstrate new 5.1 audio-processing features for its Densite XVP-3901 3-gbps/HD/SD up-, down- and cross-converter, as well as to launch its RCP-200 advanced remote-control panel system for the Densite range, with dual touch-screen displays.

The XVP-3901 can be fitted with two audio-processing sub-modules, which can provide Dolby E decoding, Dolby Digital (AC-3) decoding, Dolby E/Digital (AC-3) encoding, and upmixing using Linear Acoustic upMAX technology. It accepts 3-gbps/HD/SD feeds and delivers independent 3-gbps/HD and SD outputs.

The RCP-200 is designed to simplify the control of Densite cards, as well as NVISION and third-party routers, in complex processing infrastructures.
