Comcast SportsNet Set for Capitals-Rangers Series

Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will be the exclusive regional carrier of games 1, 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Washington Capitals’ first-round Stanley Cup Playoffs series against the New York Rangers, live in HD and followed by Capitals Postgame Live.

The network posted its highest Capitals regular-season average rating ever with a 1.1, or more than 25,000 households in Washington, D.C., a 65% jump over last season.

Comcast SportsNet’s schedule is as follows: game 1 in Washington Wednesday, April 15 at 7 p.m.; game 3 in New York Monday, April 20 at 7 p.m.; game 4 in New York Wednesday, April 22 at 7 p.m.; game 5 (if necessary) in Washington Friday, April 24 at 7 p.m.; and game 7 (if necessary) in Washington Tuesday, April 28, TBD.

NBC will carry game 2 in Washington Saturday, April 18 at 1 p.m. and game 6 (if necessary) in New York Sunday, April 26 at 2 p.m.
