RF Central Receiver Units Head to NAB

RF Central will display its RFX-RMR-II 2 GHz and 5.8 GHz rack-mounted receiver units at NAB.

The company says the 2 GHz unit is primarily designed for electronic-newsgathering remotes and the 5.8 GHz unit is geared toward live sports stadium and arena coverage, adding that both offer complete HD upgradeability.

The provider of digital and analog microwave systems for the broadcast industry, common carrier, cable, government, military, and international marketplace is part of The Vitec Group’s RF Extreme business unit.
